Helping Municipalities Turn Change into Opportunity
The world of the municipal official has changed over the past several years. Budgets are leaner, the pace of technology is faster and constituents are looking for more information in less time. At General Code, we understand the very real challenges that come with change—and how to turn those challenges into bold opportunities that can help our clients succeed.
For 55 years, General Code has demonstrated a genuine commitment to our clients by paying forward many of our core values such as integrity, personal responsibility and honest care and concern for every client need.
Our passion for excellence and an ongoing investment in our people and technology have helped us to revolutionize the codification industry. We take great pride in our collaborative approach to codification; a process driven by our team’s unique knowledge of the industry and built on home-grown innovation such as our eCode360® platform that has already transformed how municipal officials and citizens access and share Code information.
More than 3,000 local governments of all types and sizes depend on our experienced codification and legal specialists who dedicate themselves daily to providing a client experience that’s second to none. Whether it’s the creation of a first-time Code book, updating an outdated version, or converting a Code from another codifier, our goal is to take our customers to a higher standard of codification—to help them meet their ever changing needs, more effectively serve their citizens and explore new possibilities for success.
