In this example for the City of Crystal Lake, Il, we created custom icons which were strategically used throughout the Code to link relevant sections and content. This allows the reader to easily find information that is related within the Code without having to scroll and search, page by page.
Custom icons also provide the ability to add non-Code material that can be hard wired into the Code including notes and commentary.
Sometimes graphics don’t reproduce as intended or are in file formats that are incompatible with the rest of Code. Without modifications, the original images can appear blurry and hard to interpret. In instances like these, we tap our graphics experts to edit or even recreate images so that they are crisp, clear and understandable. The example below shows how we were able to recreate images in Newburgh, NY’s Code to give them more clarity and impact.
